COLOMBO: Sri Lanka seamer Chaminda Vaas on Wednesday became the fourth
bowler to take 400 run wickets in one-day out of country cricket.
The 34-year-old Vaas, fidgeting in his 322nd match, dismissed Yuvraj Singh
caught by Mahela Jayawardene at very brief mid-wicket to get through to the
milestone throughout a balance against India at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
He joins Pakistani quickly bowlers Wasim Akram (502), Sri Lanka's Muttiah
Muralitharan (478) and Pakistani Waqar Younis (416) in the council to take 400
wickets.
