Color: Golden Retriever, as the name suggests, is available in various shades of
gold or may be sometimes in cream color too.
Nature: Strong, easy to train, friendly, outgoing, happy, trusting and devoted
Goldens are good hunting companions. They are intelligent, adaptable, bark
infrequently, sensitive, self-confident and get along well with children and
other pets and dogs in the household. It is sometimes aggressive to strangers
and need obedience training. However, they have a good memory and too much
strictness is not advisable with them.
Grooming: Regular brushing and combing is necessary for this dog breed while
cleaning ears periodically is essential to keep away ear infections.
Exercise: Golden Retrievers are adaptable to the family's habits but generally
need good exercise.
