Coat type: Short and smooth coat.
Color: Boxers are mostly available in fawn and brindle colors, occasionally with
white or black mask or flashing. It is advisable not to buy a Boxer with more
than a third white body area.
Nature: Playful and fun loving, you can understand the mood of this canine breed
by looking at its face. Intelligent, happy, strong, playful, patient, friendly
and defensive, Boxers have twinkling black and can express emotions such as
curiosity, excitement, happiness, surprise and sadness. They love children and
need early obedience. They form close family bonds and are quite protective
towards the family members. They get along well with other dogs and household
pets and are naturally suspicious of strangers. Ideal for sports, Boxer learns
quickly though it must be trained not to jump up at people.
Grooming: Occasional brushing is required to keep the coat shiny and healthy.
Exercise: A Boxer needs plenty of rough and tough exercises to keep fit.
