KARACHI: Operations would resume at Gwadar Port today (Sunday) on the arrival of the ship carrying 30,000 tonnes urea consignment, it is learnt.
According to detail, the ship named MV Charlotte is scheduled to arrive at 3.30 pm which will be the second commercial operation at Gwadar Port after it has initiated its operation earlier.
Besides, two more ships will be anchored on the next subsequent days as per programme carrying urea consignments of 25,000 tonne each. Handling of shipment will be carried out with 4,000 tonnes consignment daily that will be continuing in the next weak. Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will attend the inauguration ceremony at the port.
