RAWALPINDI: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has said that 10 persons have been killed, while 6 were missing in the blazed caved in Gakhar Plaza.

NDMA in a handout released here said that 59 persons were injured, of them, 12 wounded were under treatment in different hospitals, while the rest were discharged after dispensing first aid. The bodies retrieved from the Plaza debris were those of the fire fighters of POF Fire Brigade Wah, Rescue 1122 and Rawalpindi City District Government Fire Brigade.

According to the handout, 25 percent Plaza debris has been removed, while the work for clearing of the remaining debris could continue for one week.
