The world of technology does not remain static for too long. The latest
innovation to come in the market promises to provide us mobile phones, fitted
with mousepads. Yes, you read it right! Samsung Telecommunications India has
launched its new, mousepad-fitted mobile phone, ‘Soul’ in India. Amongst the
pioneering companies in the Indian cell phone market, Samsung intends to double
its turnover, within the coming two years, with expected higher sales of its
premium products, like Soul.
As per Sunil Dutt, Country Head - Samsung Telecommunications, the company is
aiming for double turnover, with emphasis on features like innovation and
value-added services. He also revealed the company’s plans of launching nine new
models in the second quarter of 2008, one of which is the flagship ‘Soul', U900.
The other cell phones that will be unveiled to the world include ‘I780' and
‘D780'. Then, there are also plans of increase capacity of Samsung’s existing
handset manufacturing plant, situated in Noida.
Talking about Samsung Soul, the mobile phone comes at 12.9mm. It has been
designed in such a way, and with such features that it will be able to adapt as
per the user easily, depending on the application. The Magic Touch by DaCP will
enable navigation indicators on the keypad to change according to the user's
needs. Even the icons on the navigation panel will change according to function.
In other words, Samsung Soul has a design that makes navigation of the phone
menu simple, instinctive and direct. |
