It is said that ‘looks are very deceptive’. This adage seems to have come true
with Nokia’s new phone - 6220 Classic. Though looking ordinary from the outside,
the cell phone packs pretty mighty features within itself. Right from 3G Network
and 43.2 kbps HSCSD to Symbian 9.3 Operating System and 5 megapixel camera, with
Xenon flash, the phone provides you with all the latest features. With
dimensions of 108 x 47 x 15 mm and weight of hardly 90 gm, it also fits
inconspicuously within your hand, pocket and even those small and trendy
handbags.
Design
As said earlier, on the looks front, don’t expect too much from Nokia 6220
Classic. Though the phone is pleasing enough, it does not have too stylish a
design. It has the usual, but a little curvaceous, candy-bar shape, with
dimensions of 108 x 47 x 15 mm and weight of 90 gm. The 240 x 320 pixels screen
of the mobile phone supports TFT display, of 16M colors. The phone is available
in two casings - one is black colored casing, which has turquoise-blue colored
keys, while the other is purple colored casing.
Features
Nokia 6220 ClassicIn context of features, Nokia 6220 Classic does not disappoint
you at all. The most impressive feature of the phone is its 5 MP camera, which
has been fitted with Carl Zeiss optics as well as Xenon flash. There is also a
second camera, which is used mainly for the purpose of 3G video calling. 6220
Classic also supports video recording in both VGA format and video playback. If
that wasn’t enough, you can also geotag your photos, through A-GPS
functionality, or upload them on blogs, using its mobile internet connectivity
with HSDPA support.
Nokia 6220 Classic has been packed with Symbian operating system, complete with
S60 3rd edition software. The built-in EDGE & HSCSD technology lets you
experience high speed connectivity & fast transfers. You can use the cabled USB
connection or a wireless Bluetooth to connect to devices like PC, printer,
laptop or headset. The expandable memory of the phone (up to 8 GB) lets you
download as many of your favorite songs, in MP3, WMA, ACC, ACC+ or eAAC+ format,
as you want. All in all, 6220 Classic is definitely value for money!
