Turkey Bag
Craft Materials
* Newspaper
* Brown Paper Lunch Bag
* Acrylic Paint (in different colors like brown, red, orange, green, and yellow)
* Felt Scraps (in various colors like orange, brown, green, and maroon)
* Rubber Band
* Plastic Spoon
* 2 medium Wiggle Eyes
* Scissors
* White Craft Glue
Procedure
* Place the lunch bag on the table and color the open end of the bag, using the
acrylic paint, in stripes.
* Color strips on the sides of the bag as well. Let them dry and then cut out
the strips using scissors.
* Paint the other side of the strips as well. Now, allow them to dry completely.
* Crumble the old newspaper and put it halfway inside the bag. Collect the
entire bag contents and tie it with a rubber band.
* Now bend the strips upwards, in such a manner that when the bag is kept on the
table, they look like feathers of the turkey.
* Draw different parts of the turkey on the felt paper and cut them out.
* Cut a triangle from the orange felt, to serve as the beak of the turkey.
* Cut out heart shape from the maroon felt, to be used as the gobbler of the
turkey.
* Cut out two triangles from brown felt, to form the feet of the turkey. Now,
cut toe shape in these triangles.
* Cut out bowtie from the green felt.
* Apply brown paint on the plastic spoon and let it dry completely. This will
serve as the face of the turkey.
* Paste the beak, eyes and gobbler on the face of the turkey. Glue the turkey on
the brown felt, cut for the feet. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly.
* Make a small hole in the bag, at the place of neck and head.
* Paste the bowtie at the exact place where the plastic spoon meets the bag.

* Brown Paper Bags
* Cardboard
* Glue
* Color Craft Paper
* 2 White Pom-poms
* Black Marker

Procedure
* Cut a circle from the brown paper bag, to serve as the head of the turkey.
* Cut a band from the brown paper bag, with the width depending upon the size of
the head of the person who is going to wear the cap.
* Cut out cardboard strip for the turkey’s neck. The strip should be of
appropriate length, as per the head of the turkey. Fold the strip three times
and paste it at the end of the circle.
* Take the yellow craft paper and cut out a small double triangle from it. This
triangle would serve as the beak of the turkey. Paste the beak on the face of
the turkey.
* Cut a round ‘L’ out of the red paper and paste it to the head, to form wattle.
* Draw a small circle on each of the pom-poms, using the marker and glue them on
the head of the turkey. These would be the turkey’s eyes.
* Paste the free end of the neck to the middle of the head band.
* Cut out colorful strips from the craft paper, to form the feathers of the
turkey. Paste them on the opposite end of the head. Allow the cap to dry
thoroughly.
* Your turkey cap is ready to be placed on your guest’s head.
