Wheel Of Affection
Materials Required
* Card stock
* Pinking shears
* Craft knife
* Paper fastener
* Glue
Instructions
* For the first wheel, make a circle of about 7½ inches in diameter. Now, using
this circle as a guide, make three more circles, each one a little larger than
the previous one.
* With the help of pinking shears, trim the circles to create designer edges.
* Now, stick the two smaller circles together. In the same way, stick the two
larger circles together as well. This way you would get two double thick wheels.
* Make a small rectangular box measuring ½ by 2½ inches on the smaller wheel by
means of a craft knife.
* On top of the box, write the message - " To me You are:"
* The next step would be to cut complimentary words and phrases from the
newspapers and stick it on the larger circle, to complete the message.
* Make sure that the words you stick are well-spaced, so that only one word can
be seen at a time. also, ensure that the words or phrases you cut aptly fit in
the small rectangular box or window.
* The last step would be to poke a hole at the center of both the wheel and
attach them using a paper fastener. Beautify the top wheel with more Mother's
Day greetings and messages.
Tubular Frame
Materials Required
* Cardboard
* Scissors
* Colored paper (magazine pages, gift wrap, origami paper, etc.)
* Tape
* Glue
* Dowel or round chopstick
Instructions
* The first step would be to trim the piece of cardboard into a rectangular
shape, so as to form a frame. Now, cover the frame with a piece of colored
paper.
* Take a small piece of cardboard and fold it. Stick it to the back so that it
gives the frame a support.
* The next step would be to enfold pieces of colored paper around the dowel or
chopstick, with the help of glue.
* Now, remove the paper tube and glue it to the frame.
* Continue the process, making sure that there is umpteen space left in the
center, for sticking the picture.
