Design and Interior
Striking features of the vehicle are new front grille with chrome effect, new spare wheel cover, sparkling head and tail lamps, bumper grille and sump guard with chrome effect. All these add to the overall appeal of the SUV's exteriors, while the side footstep allows easy ingress. Seven people can comfortable ride in Tata Safari. The vehicle has been bedecked with the luxurious, two-toned beige interiors. A spacious vehicle, it has wood finish on the central console looking classy, while the trendy instrument cluster and gear knob add to its appeal. The spacious glove box has an attractive lamp. Variants and Price
Tata Safari is available in three models - 4x2 LX TCIC, DiCOR 2.2 VTT and MPFI EXI. The DICOR version itself is available in three variants - EX, LX and VX. Tata Safari is priced between Rs. 6.50 and 11.50 lakhs.

Engine
The car is powered with a 3-litre Direct Injection Common Rail engine (DICOR), which uses contemporary state of the art Delphi Multec 1600 bar fully electronic common rail system.

Safety
Dual front air bags protect the passengers from impact of a jerk. On applying sudden breaks, Antilock Braking System (ABS) helps the passengers to stay in control. Anti-submarine seats protect the driver and front seat occupant in the case of accidents. Three-stage collapsible steering column of Tata Safari reduces the impact of injury to the driver's chest in case of full frontal collision. Other safety features incorporated are child safety locks on rear door and trail gate, twin pot disc brakes, headlamp leveling and adjustable WELR seat belts.
