Design and Interiors
Frontage of Skoda is accentuated by powerful Bi-Xenon headlights, with
integrated fog lamps. The stylish design of the luxurious car is enhanced by
chrome detailing in the interiors as well as exteriors. Adding to the
sophistication is the rear view mirror, with built-in turn signal lamps.
Electrically operated sunroof can be slide-opened with a push-button. The
headlamps are equipped with inbuilt power washers. Five people can sit
comfortably in the car.
The car has eye-pleasing plush interiors. The cabin has small storage spaces
that are tucked away within easy reach. A climate controlled travel box is
fitted into the flip-out rear seat armrest. You can put your umbrella in the wet
case. Climatronic air conditioning system is integrated on the dash, with vents
on the front and rear portion of the cabin. Wooden finish makes the central
console and gear knob look elegant.
Variants and Price
SkodaSuperb is available in two variants - 2.8 Ltr Petrol and 2.5 Ltr Diesel.
The luxury sedan is priced at Rs 23.4 lakhs.
Safety
The car comes with safety featues like Anti-Braking System (ABS) which prevents
wheels from locking, even in hard or sudden braking. It avoids skidding, reduces
braking distance and also lessens wear and tear of the tyres. The acceleration
skid restrain (ASR) system prevents slippage of the drive wheels ensuring
control and transfer of the driving force on the wheels.
Engine
The car has a powerful 2.8L 30-valve V6 gasoline engine, which pumps out a mind
blowing 193 bhp of power at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 280 Nm @ 3200 rpm.
The diesel variants of the automobile are powered by 2.5 L V6 engine that
delivers a power of 163 bhp and a maximum torque of 350 Nm @ 3000 rpm.
