Porsche Caynne is a 5 seater SUV made for the high-end buyers. The luxury car
has a commanding look and one-of-a-kind styling. Its class and performance sets
it apart from other cars. The automobile is equipped with special features which
ensure good off-road performance too.
Design and Interior
The base model of Caynne features H7 projector beam headlights and large center
air-intake duct. Bi-xenon headlights are supported by static and dynamic
cornering lights. The pair of elongated light units is positioned on the corner
of the outer air ducts. The rear end of the car features new taillights cluster.
The rear roof spoiler enhances the muscular stance of Porsche Cayenne. Cayenne
and Cayenne S have standard seats, while Cayenne GTS has sports seats. All the
seats have a detachable head restraint.
Cabin is just elegance and comfort. The 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel is
an option available on all car models. The music system creates the effect of an
amphitheatre. All models of the SUV have the option of an electrically operated
panoramic roof system. Porsche Cayenne Turbo is equipped with the latest Porsche
Communication Management (PCM) system.
Variants and Price
Porsche Cayenne comes in five variants - Cayenne base model (), Cayenne S,
Cayenne GTS, Cayenne Turbo and Cayenne Turbo S. The base model is available in a
price tag of Rs 59 lakh (approx). Cayenne S is priced at Rs 75 lakh (approx),
while the GTS variant at Rs 85 lakh (approx). Cayenne Turbo is priced at Rs 1.1
Crore (approx) while Cayenne Turbo S can be bought at a price tag of Rs 1.4
Crore (approx).
Engine
Porsche Cayenne is available in three engine options. Cayenne, the base model,
is powered by 3.6L V6 engine, which delivers a power of 290 hp @ 6200 rpm. with
a peak torque of 385 Nm @ 3000 rpm. Cayenne S is powered by 4.8L V8 engine,
which churns out a power of 385 hp @ 6200 rpm. Cayenne GTS is powered by 4.8L
naturally aspired V8 engine, delivering power of 405 bhp @ 6200 rpm.
Safety
Bi-xenon headlights in Cayenne Turbo feature dynamic range control and
integrated cleaning, while those present in Cayenne, Cayenne S and Cayenne GTS
have manual range control and reflection high-beam lights. The lightweight steel
body of the vehicle enable it to attain pace quickly, and, at the same time,
makes it safe.
