Mercedes-Benz SL-500 has 8 V, 5.0 L engine that generates an output of 306 bhp @
5600rpm and a torque of 460 Nm. It has five-speed automatic transmission and
reaches the speed of 0-100kmph in just 6.3 seconds.
Safety
It is the first Mercedes to be equipped with Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC).
This electro hydraulic braking system helps in emergency braking and effectively
reduces the car's stopping distance. It also enhances safety when braking during
cornering.
