Much awaited Mahindra-Renault Logan has been launched in India. This compact
sedan is a spacious, practical and affordable vehicle. The outlook of Logan is
impressive and the basic version is a value for money, however the top-end
versions are a bit high on price. The prominent feature of this car is its
performance, interiors and economy.
Design and Interior
The external appearance of Logan might not be very appealing to all but the USP
of this car is its spaciousness, it offers maximum room to its occupants. It
boasts of being the widest car in its segment with large headroom. The outside
of the car is emphasised by wheel arches, sleek body sides and bonnet. It has
also been provided with rear lamp clusters, headlamps, air-conditioning and
heating system.
The interior of the car has been fabricated aesthetically. The car has been

The price range deviates from Rs. 4,27,950 for the basic petrol version to Rs.

Engine
Logan has been supplied with a 1390 cc 4 cyl-8 Valve petrol engine that can
produce an optimum power of 75 Bhp @ 5500 rpm with peak torque of 110 Nm @ 3000
rpm. The diesel version is catered with a common-rail diesel engine, able to
produce a power of 65 Bhp at 4000 rpm and maximum of torque at 2000 rpm.
Safety
Top models of Logan has been fitted with basic safety features that are parallel
to the European and international standards, like airbag for driver, honeycomb
dashboard, power steering, power windows, remote central locking and remote fuel
