Fiat Palio Stile is a hatchback category car which has enjoyed tremendous
success in European markets. Offered by a joint venture between Fiat India
Private Limited and Tata Motors, it is an all-rounder blending space and
practicality with great looks.
Design and Interior
The car has features such as sporty body coloured bumpers, better fuel
efficiency, eye catching exterior and beige interiors with dual-tone dashboard,
roomy interiors with large legroom space, 260 litres of boot space that can be
expanded upto 950 litres, seat belts for rear seats, enhanced fabric upholstery
design, fifth door inner trim, a rear wheel arch carpet for all base version
etc. It has rack & pinion power assisted engine which is easy to handle. As for
suspension system, it has independent McPherson strut for the front, and torsion
axle, coil springs, stabilizing bar and telescopic dual effect shock absorbers
for the rear.
Fiat Palio ELX model has comfort features like full central console, twin
parabola reflector head lights with halogen lamps, white directional indicators,
PVC gear knob and imitation leather gear shift boot, Mounting for car radio,
antenna cable, internal cable for six speakers, vanity mirror, 2-speed front
wiper with intermittent operation and anti panic feature, tripmeter, digital
lock, front power windows, etc.

Engine
Fiat Palio Diesel has 4 cylinder front transversal 8 valve engine. It has Single
Overhead Cam Shaft (SOHC) with Electronically controlled Fuel injection. The
engine produces maximum torque of 118 (12.0) kgm at 2500 rpm.
Palio 1.2 NV Petrol has front drive engine. It has Manual, 5-speed, all forward,
speeds synchromesh gear box.
Safety
The car has been equipped with a secure engine immobilizer software. Several
other contemporary safety features have also been incorporated including
dashboard with height adjustable front seat belts, driver side air bag (capacity
45 litres), anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD),
central locking system, rear windshield defroster etc.
